St. George's Church
St. George's Church, today's Castle Chapel, has its origins in the first half of the 12th century, once a truly unique example of Austrian architecture.
That is to say, a space featuring a single nave and double chancel, with an east and a west transept, a tower above each of the two crossings and a crypt to the west, in which the famous cubiform capital is found with its depiction of a hunting scene.
Subsequent to its incorporation into the castle, only the church's east tower was preserved.
